Experimental Demonstration of Anamorphic M2 Laser Transformation in Polar Coordinates

The R&D physicist at Holo/Or just published a new article about M2 transformation, useful for industrial laser material processing applications. The article discusses a laser M2 transformation system in polar coordinates, where a multimode laser beam is transformed into a ring-shaped beam with close to single mode beam quality in radial coordinate (ring thickness), and increased M2 in azimuthal axis.
