Did you know that laser heating can be used to selectively oxidize MoS2 films ?
In a recent article, researchers from the USA and Taiwan have used a custom line-shaping module by Holo/Or to create a uniform illumination line on amorphous MoS2 films in an oxygen-rich environment. By modifying processing parameters, the researchers showed significant changes in optical constants.
The title of the paper is “Laser-Induced Crystallization and Oxidation Phase Diagrams for High-Throughput Evaluation of MoS2/MoOx Optical Thin Films.”
