Chroma’s Filters Enable Groundbreaking Research
Two recently published papers detailing groundbreaking biological research used Chroma components in the experimental setup.
The first paper is entitled, “Dynamic conformational changes of a tardigrade group-3 late embryogenesis abundant protein modulate membrane biophysical properties.”
The cells were photographed using RFP filters and GFP filters from Chroma Technology.
The second paper is called, “Detection of Fluorescent Protein Mechanical Switching in Cellulo.”
For this paper the FRET images were acquired using a custom filter set including three components from Chroma Technology: an mTFP1 excitation filter (ET450/30x), Venus excitation filter (ET514/10x), and dichroic mirror (T450/514rpc).
