Convert Your Scientific Camera into an Intensified Camera
The Cricket from Photonis is a plug-and-play adaptor designed to convert any scientific camera into an intensified camera. Cricket enables your camera to capture images across a broad spectral range, from 200 to 900 nm. The Cricket is easy to use. Simply connect it with a universal C-mount interface, adjust the fine focus, and begin using.
Cricket features an 18-mm image intensifier, a fiber optic anode window and a power supply. Cricket easily adapts to any camera-and-lens assembly, making it simple to effectively upgrade any camera to an intensified camera for use in physics, fluorescence imaging, plasma research or corona detection.
In addition to providing an intensified image, Cricket can also convert UV and NIR photons into green photons with emission characteristics that perfectly match the spectral response of a solid-state camera. High 3 ns temporal resolution is possible with an optional gating module. Cricket supports 1 μlx sensitivity or single photon counting.
The Cricket is compatible with most CCD, CMOS, EMCCD and sCMOS cameras, and is ideal for a large number of applications including physics, FLIM, plasma research and corona detection.
