Femtosecond Laser-Induced Ablation – Quadruple Mass Spectrometry
Dr. Steffen Mittelman presented a paper, entitled “Femtosecond Laser-Induced Ablation – Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry for Depth and Lateral Profiling of Helium and Hydrogen Isotopes in Fusion Materials.”
This work explores advanced diagnostics for hydrogen isotope and helium profiling in plasma-facing materials, contributing to a deeper understanding of fuel retention in fusion devices.
Dr. Mittelman has joined LTB Lasertechnik Berlin after working at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics.
