greateyes ALEX-s Camera Assists Atom Probe Tomography Research
greateyes is excited to see the ALEX-s 2k512 BI CCD camera integrated into a sophisticated EUV beamline used for atom probe tomography (APT) research.
In this setup, this camera is a key component of the EUV imaging spectrometer, operating in a 1:1 imaging configuration to capture emission directly from the capillary source. Combined with conical diffraction gratings and precision toroidal optics, this system enables high-fidelity spectral measurements in extreme environments.
The greateyes company is happy to support frontier research in ultrafast and high-energy optics.
The published paper is entitled, “Atom probe tomography using an extreme ultraviolet trigger pulse.”
About greateyes Cameras
greateyes offers a series of high-performance, cooled, full-frame, CCD scientific cameras for imaging and spectroscopy in the range of X-ray to near-infrared (NIR). The cameras combine scientific, highly sensitive CCD sensors and ultra-low noise electronics for optimal detection of weak signals and measurements with high dynamic range. They can be used as detectors for a broad range of applications common in the industrial and scientific community, including:
- Spectroscopy
- Imaging
