greateyes CCD Used to Investigate Organic Solar Cell Materials
One of the soft X-ray CCD cameras from greateyes contributed in a published study, entitled “Tackling P3HT:Y-Series Miscibility Through Advanced Processing for Tunable Aggregation.”
In this study, Resonant Soft X-ray Scattering (RSoXS) measurements were carried out at the SST-1 beamline (NSLS-II) to investigate nanostructural features in organic solar cell materials. Researchers used the soft X-ray-sensitive CCD detector to capture high-resolution 2D scattering patterns at a photon energy of 285.4 eV and a sample-to-detector distance of 35 mm.
The staff at greateyes is excited to see their technology enabling insights into next-generation solar energy materials.
About greateyes Cameras
greateyes offers a series of high-performance, cooled, full-frame, CCD scientific cameras for imaging and spectroscopy in the range of X-ray to near-infrared (NIR). The cameras combine scientific, highly sensitive CCD sensors and ultra-low noise electronics for optimal detection of weak signals and measurements with high dynamic range. They can be used as detectors for a broad range of applications common in the industrial and scientific community, including:
- Spectroscopy
- Imaging
