ID Qube ULN Enhances IDQ’s Suite of Photon Detectors

In January 2025 IDQ launched the ID Qube ULN (Ultra Low Noise), a compact, plug-and-play addition to your detector options. This compact solution for 1550-nm, single photon measures at less than 200 cps dark count rate.
This new product enhances IDQ’s continuum of cost-effective performance. The ID Qube ULN now bridges the noise performance gap between the compact ID Qube LN and the SNSPD-equivalent dark count rate (DCR) of the ID230. (See the table above.)
With the ID Qube ULN, IDQ continues to deliver best-in-class performance, while striving for ease-of-use. This completes a continuum of dark count rate performance from SPADs to SNSPD systems.
IDQ has been hard at work to provide you the best results in the smallest package. The development of the ID Qube ULN also led to across-the-board DCR improvements of up to 50% for the whole ID Qube series.
