Identifying Long-Range, Charge-Density-Wave Formation
The XUV CCD camera from greateyes played a crucial role in a university study pushing the boundaries of attosecond, core-level spectroscopy. This research has unveiled new insights into the dynamics of quantum materials, particularly in identifying long-range, charge-density-wave formation in a quasi-2D excitonic insulator candidate.
By leveraging the high-resolution capabilities of the greateyes camera, researchers were able to capture detailed data from transmitted XUV beams. The published paper is entitled, “Core-level signature of long-range density-wave order and short-range excitonic correlations probed by attosecond broadband spectroscopy.”
About greateyes Cameras
greateyes offers a series of high-performance, cooled, full-frame, CCD scientific cameras for imaging and spectroscopy in the range of X-ray to near-infrared (NIR). The cameras combine scientific, highly sensitive CCD sensors and ultra-low noise electronics for optimal detection of weak signals and measurements with high dynamic range. They can be used as detectors for a broad range of applications common in the industrial and scientific community, including:
