IL Photonics Now Represents KM innovation in Israel
KM innovation, located in South Korea, has appointed IL Photonics as its Israeli agent.
KM innovation is one of a few corporations in the world that can mass produce low absorption zinc selenide (ZnSe). ZnSe is an optical material that can transmit radiation in a wide wavelength band from near infrared to far infrared. ZnSe can therefore be used for high power CO2 lasers and infrared-related optical technologies.
Features and applications for ZnSe components include:
- Laser cutting & marking: Low bulk absorption coefficient @ 10.6 um: F-theta lenses
- Infrared optics (lenses, windows, prisms): Thermal cameras, night vision: High resolution infrared cameras
- Other products: Semiconductors: Evaporation material & sputtering target
CVD-ZnSe has very low absorption at 10.6 µm wavelength. It is suitable for high-power CO2 lasers and high-resolution infrared optical components.
