Introducing the LTB qMNL1000: Next Generation Pulsed UV DPSS Laser
Experience the future of DPSS UV laser technology with the qMNL1000, from LTB Lasertechnik Berlin. This is the latest series of long-life lasers, designed for unparalleled performance in MALDI-TOF MS, bioreader, and fluorescence microscopy applications. Moving beyond LTB’s renowned MNL nitrogen lasers, the qMNL series represents a significant leap forward, offering customers superior control and precision.
The qMNL1000 is a pulsed, actively Q-switched DPSS laser, providing full control over all laser parameters, including power and timing, which are often critical for demanding applications.
Key Features and Benefits
With standard wavelengths of 336 and 355 nm, the qMNL is an ideal ignition source for a wide range of applications. The 336-nm wavelength is specifically chosen for optimal absorption by common MALDI-TOF MS matrices like CHCA and DHB, ensuring very efficient and reliable results.
The qMNL1000 is already recognized for its long lifetime, minimal energy degradation, and high precision. These advantages are the result of LTB’s unique design, comprising features normally not found in this compact laser class, such as:
- Active Q-switch: Provides precise control over laser pulses.
- Advanced pump design: Enhances overall laser efficiency and longevity.
- Integrated laser controller: Allows for a wide range of presets and configurations, enabling easy adaptation to various applications.
- Easy Integration: Boasts a compact size and an integrated laser controller. The qMNL1000 is incredibly easy to integrate into your OEM applications. Utilizing the same robust housing as LTB’s popular MNL models, development of new device generations requires a minimal adaptation effort, streamlining your product development process.
- Comprehensive Control: The integrated laser controller’s firmware provides full control over all laser functions and parameters via a PC interface. All trigger inputs and outputs are managed and monitored by the system’s trigger management unit.
- Safe and Simple Operation: The air-cooled laser operates on a low supply voltage of 24 V DC, ensuring safe and easy integration into your systems.
