Introducing the New SIENA NIR Spectrometer
The SIENA spectrometer from Avenir Photonics raises the bar in compact near-infrared spectroscopy. As the first spectrometer with an uncooled InGaAs line sensor up to 2100 nm, it enables new possibilities for portable and industrial NIR sensors. At the same time, it breaks down the cost barriers that used to prevent the application of NIR spectroscopy in the field.
NIR spectrometers are usually either high-performance or low-cost. The Siena delivers the technical performance for precise measurements at a price suitable for integration in portable and industrial sensors. Large absorbance values can be accurately measured due to its superior sensitivity, optimized stray light suppression, and high dynamic range.
The SIENA features:
- Wavelengths from 900 to 2100 nm (3 standard configurations, customization available)
- Low power, uncooled InGaAs sensor
- Performance and reliability for portable and industrial applications
Together with the ARIS spectrometer, these two devices represent a new generation of compact spectroscopy, providing:
- Excellent sensitivity and resolution
- Superior stray light performance
- Sophisticated on-board evaluation
- Rugged build quality for mobile and industrial integration
- Performance and flexibility at an unprecedented price
Delivering exceptional performance at an unprecedented price, the SIENA opens up countless new possibilities for NIR-based sensors.
