Laser Quantum Introduces Ultra-Low-Noise Laser
The newest ultra-low-noise laser, called axiom 532, from Laser Quantum lends itself to Ti:Sapphire pumping as the pump laser noise is transferred directly to the noise of the Ti:Sapphire laser. When the typical noise value is <0.02% RMS, this factor is greatly reduced, even at powers up to 12 W.
The exceptional beam profile produced by the axiom 532 is ideal for fluorescence microscopy and optical trapping. The power stability and M2 close to unity enable a tight focal point at the sample plane.
