New High-Power SOA Modules up to 40 mW at 840 nm
Superlum Diodes is pleased to announce the launch of a new Semiconductor Optical Amplifier (SOA), A850.25.40. This multipurpose device can be used in various applications, including amplifying small optical signals at 845 nm and boosting the output power up to 40 mW.
A850.30.40 SOAs are butterfly packaged with an internal thermoelectric cooler (TEC) and thermistor for temperature stabilization of SOA chips. PM fibers are standard; SM fibers may be used upon request.
About Superlum Diodes
For decades, Superlum Diodes has been manufacturing high quality superluminescent diodes (SLDs).
Their main products are free space SLD modules and SM and PM fiber pigtailed SLD modules based on a single transverse mode SLD emitters, as well as multimode fiber pigtailed SLD modules in different spectral bands from 650 nm to 1620 nm, including extremely powerful (up to 100 mW) and broadband (up to 100 nm FWHM) models.
Custom performance characteristics and different package types are available upon request. For customers’ convenience, modules can be delivered with an appropriate current and temperature controller.
