 Lasers

Laser Quantum launches the excel CW 532nm laser that is capable of up to 2W whilst maintaining noise at <0.5% RMS. The excel’s compact design means you get all of the excellent specifications with a laser that fits in the palm of your hand.  The new intelligent smd12 power supply allows operation in power or current mode, with power stability of <0.4%.

The excel’s robust design, its low requirements for temperature control and long warranty periods make it ideal for scientific applications and integration into other instruments. Applications include PIV, Ophthalmology and other microscopy.

 Detectors

The SHD033 matches the sensitivity of a PMT using solid state amplification of a silicon photodiode.  The proprietary preamp is unique in that is preamplifies the current-chopped junction charge of the cell, providing and 82 dB linear response. Built-in temperature control and leakage shielding minimize noise and dark current. The special silicon cell has a broad spectral range with excellent sensitivity in the near I, recovers rapidly from overload (such as direct sunlight), which would destroy a PMT) while maintaining its calibration integrity over time.

Since the complex preamplification circuitry is located within the actual detector head, noise is held to a minimum. The remote circuitry requires input voltages automatically provided by the ILT1700 Research Radiometer.

Description: 33 mm2 silicon detector with internal high gain amplifier. Measurement range: 1(10-13) to 15(10-6) W. Compatible with ILT1700 only. Spectral range: 200-1050nm, 750nm peak

Light-Conversion  is the world leading manufacturer of continuously wavelength tunable ultrafast light sources based on TOPAS series of optical parametric amplifiers and frequency mixers. Established in 1994, as a spin-off from Vilnius University Laser Research Center, the company has built its strength on profound knowledge in the field of optical parametric generation and amplification accumulated by its people in general and its leader Dr. Romualdas Danielius in particular.

Starting from 2007 Light Conversion has introduced it’s new development – PHAROS ultra short laser system. Featuring market-leading femtosecond pulse output parameters along with robust, industrial design PHAROS has gained significant attention of industrial and scientific customers. Primary applications of Light Conversion femtosecond laser are in material processing and micromachining. However coupled with ORPHEUS parametric amplifiers PHAROS becomes an attractive laser source for ultrafast spectroscopy applications.

Light Conversion is a private company with >70 employees. The company is based in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. The company’s activities are mainly concentrated on the product development, manufacturing and service.

PHAROS products

Femtosecond Yb:KGW system “PHAROS” is a versatile ultrashort laser platform offering unprecedented flexibility and reliability for scientific and industrial applications. Single package with a footprint of only 57 cm x 40 cm encloses complete femtosecond ytterbium based amplifier system, harmonic generators and a range of external OPA’s “ORPHEUS”. Pharos delivers optical pulses with duration <180fs, 10W average power, and variable repetition rate 1kHz..1MHz.
 PHAROS

“PHAROS” is a single-unit integrated femtosecond laser system combining millijoule pulse energies and high average power. It features market leading compact size for easy OEM integration and laboratory space saving. Most of “PHAROS” output  parameters can be easily set via control pad or PC tuning the laser for your particular application in seconds. Tunability of laser output parameter allow “PHAROS” system to cover applications normally requiring dif…

 CEP stabilization system for PHAROS

Amplification of CEP stable pulses with a reproducible waveform under the pulse envelope is an enabling technology for a variety of strong-field control applications such as generation of isolated attosecond pulses or directional electron emission in above-threshold ionization. Femtosecond diode pumped ytterbium laser amplifiers present an interesting opportunity if this field as compared to Ti:Sapphire because of the average power and repetition rate scalability. Pursuing those applications Lig…
