SiTek Manufactures Products in House
SiTek Electro Optics has facilities to produce in-house semiconductor production for high-precision position sensing detectors (PSDs).
SiTek develops and manufactures position-sensing detectors and custom photodiodes in their own cleanroom in Partille, Sweden.
All key process steps are performed in house, including wafer preparation, lithography, implantation, metallization, dicing, assembly, and full electrical/optical testing. This ensures SiTek has full control of performance, stability, and long-term supply.
SiTek’s lateral-effect PSDs are used in automation, lithography tools, multi-mirror control, scanning electron microscopes, and the defense industry where speed, linearity and low noise are critical.
Most of their work is customer-specific, and many designs that were created and implemented 10–15 years ago are still in production today with the same process. This is why many OEMs choose SiTek when standard components are not enough.
