SM-Fiber Coupled SLD Modules Now Exceed 5 mW
Superlum Diodes announces an extension of the SM-fiber coupled 9-mm TOSA-packaged series of SLD 840 nm modules. New devices, SLD-840F50P95S, provide an SM-fiber output power exceeding 5 mW and a flat-top optical spectrum with a typical spectrum width exceeding 45 nm. These new modules are recommended for low-cost and portable medical and industrial optical coherence tomography (OCT) and other low-coherence interferometric systems, as well as applications requiring uniform, low-speckle and high-brightness illumination.
