Superlum Introduces miniBUT Packaged SLDs at 840 nm
SuperLum Diodes are excited to introduce to their customers their newest product: the S840.35.5S-MINIBUT.
These medium power, uncooled, SM fiber, pigtailed miniBUT packaged SLD modules at 840 nm were developed for applications allowing wavelength shift in case of ambient temperature variations. Being low-cost by design and not requiring active cooling, these miniature devices will enable customers to reduce system size and costs directly and indirectly, as active temperature control loops are unnecessary for them.
Superlum understand that every customer is unique. That’s why the company offer customization of their products to fit your specific requirements. Whether you need various wavelengths or bandwidth combination miniBUT packaged SLDs, Superlum can assemble them upon request.
About Superlum Diodes
For decades, Superlum Diodes has been manufacturing high quality superluminescent diodes (SLDs).
Their main products are free space SLD modules and SM and PM fiber pigtailed SLD modules based on a single transverse mode SLD emitters, as well as multimode fiber pigtailed SLD modules in different spectral bands from 650 nm to 1620 nm, including extremely powerful (up to 100 mW) and broadband (up to 100 nm FWHM) models.
Custom performance characteristics and different package types are available upon request. For customers’ convenience, modules can be delivered with an appropriate current and temperature controller.
