Tera-SED Generates Broad-Band Terahertz Radiation
In a paper entitled, “Singlemoded THz guidance in bendable TOPAS suspended-core fiber directly drawn from a 3D printer”, the authors demonstrate a simple and novel method to fabricate low-cost THz microstructured fibers.
One of the components in the experimental setup is a Tera-SED (Spectral Energy Distribution) produced by Laser Quantum.
Tera-SED is a planar large-area GaAs based photo-conductive emitter for impulsive generation of broad-band terahertz (THz) radiation.
