TT Ultrafast Mirrors are Fast like the TT Motorcycle Race
The Isle of Man Tourist Trophy (TT) races are an annual motorcycle event run on the Isle of Man in May and June of most years. This is why TT is the name given to Manx Precision Optics (MPO) range of TT ultrafast mirrors.
The TT ultrafast laser‐mirror family delivers the performance you need with excellent reflectivity and group delay dispersion (GDD). These mirrors are available with broad band or wavelength-specific coatings.
MPO’s TT range of mirrors comprises:
- TTS High Energy Mirrors – Reflectivity > 99.9 %, GDD < 20 fs², LIDT > 150 J/cm² for extreme power applications
- TTB Broadband Mirrors – Ultra flat GDD (< 30 fs²) across 400–1100 nm, > 99.5 % reflectivity for versatile, multi wavelength systems
- TTMH Metal Hybrid Mirrors – Reflectivity > 97 % across 700–900 nm (0°/45°), metal dielectric design for high LIDT and low GDD
- TTW Ultra Broadband Dielectric Mirrors – Reflectivity > 99.3 % from 720–880 nm (0°) and 700–900 nm (45°), optimized for low GDD and high damage threshold
The TT range of mirrors are capable of performance at speed. Because these are standard products, they are available at a more reasonable cost than commissioning a totally new design.
These mirrors are ideal for material processing, spectroscopy, and microscopy systems.
