Tunable/Swept Bandwidth Lasers at New Wavelengths
Although SuperLuminescent Diodes (SLDs) are the main business of Superlum Diodes, the company also offers tunable/swept bandwidth lasers called “Broadsweepers”.
Superlum introduced the first compact OEM version of Broadsweeper at 840 nm with 75 nm tuning/sweeping bandwidth two years ago. Now they present new models of this device, with wavelengths centered at 790 nm (55 nm tuning) and 930 nm (110 nm tuning).
The combination of these three OEM sources (790, 840 and 930 nm) allows continuous tuning from 770 to 1000 nm with a rate of up to 10,000 nm/s. Such sources are suitable for various applications, such as optical metrology, sensing, spectroscopy, full-field, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), and many others.
